BBC North

After creating the website for the BBC's landmark move of five key departments (including Sport, Children's and the flagship Future Media & Technology) from London to MediaCityUK in Salford, we developed branding for BBC North. Now used extensively across all BBC North communications, the brand is flexible enough to evolve as the project expands.

The feel and character of the visual identity was developed to sit naturally within the wider BBC brand family. The core graphic elements make use of BBC multi-platform icons, a dynamic, positive colourway and set of stylised icons. The brand has so far been used on film, signage, online media, BBC Intranet and a suite of brand collateral.
