Brockholes
We were excited to hear that former quarry land just outside Preston was going to be developed into a nature reserve, courtesy of Lancashire Wildlife Trust. We ran focus groups and consultations with local residents to gain an insight into what they wanted for the area and to understand what features would attract them to Brockholes.
We wanted to focus on play – not just for kids, but for adults, too. We developed a brand that was fun and quirky but had a strong educational message. Through our 'word wheel' we identified words that describe Brockholes well and inform visitors what the attraction is all about.
