Envirolink Cluster Development
Envirolink is the energy and environmental technologies and services (ETS) sector development organisation in the Northwest. In 2010, Creative Concern delivered a project to evaluate Envirolink’s market position, scope out new areas of opportunity and make recommendations to support the organisation’s development.
We conducted in-depth interviews with key stakeholders to discuss perceptions of Envirolink and wrote a positioning document revealing the organisation’s true standing in the region as understood by this audience. We used this information to make a variety of recommendations in areas including brand strength, clarity of purpose, visibility, identity and direction.
To support the move into new markets, we led a focus group where experts debated the ETS sector landscape in Yorkshire, the Humber and further North. We directed the discussion and collated key findings into a paper that identified opportunities and proposed a strategic approach.
In the run up to the general election, we commissioned a report on the three main political parties, outlining their environmental policies, and ensured Envirolink was prepared for any outcome. We presented our review of the national outlook and advised what position Envirolink could move into.
"Creative Concern planned and delivered a project critical to our future development. They brought a fresh, comprehensive and effective solution that supported our organisational objectives and delivered practical results we could incorporate into our business strategy.” Rebecca Turner, Head of Knowledge Management at Envirolink Northwest
